Party Post #17
Today I have an amazing mini tutorial from my friend Marlene!
She is going to show us all how to make a mini shaped as an adorable camera!!!
Hello everyone. My name is Marlene and I’m so excited and happy to be here celebrating my friend Val’s Birthday Blog Bash Party! Today I’m going to share my camera mini album and a template so that you can create your own.
When I first started scrapbooking many years ago, I used to print pictures of projects that I wanted to re-create. I still have the print out of this tiny mini album that I just loved, I guess because it was so small and cute. I have no idea where it came from; thank goodness that we now have Pinterest LOL
Here is a copy of my camera mini album template. It contains the main camera shape, the camera button and the camera lens. You can right click on the picture and save it into your picture folder. All you have to do then is open the picture using any picture software program and re-size it to the size you want to create your album. Once you have your template printed off, you can lay it on top of cardstock and cut it out to create a pattern. Once I had my pattern, I laid it on top of my papers and cut them all out. Once the album was complete I punched a small hole into each page and bound the pages with a jump ring. Here’s how my album turned out:
Products used: cardstock * Sassafras scrapbook papers & embellishment * Tim Holtz® Idea-ology™ | Findings Film Strip Ribbon * Dymo label maker * 7gypsies 17708 "PHOTO" Sticker Sheet * jump ring
I had fun creating this little mini album and I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. Link Val up if you create your own little mini.
Have fun and happy creating!
