getting my scrap on

So I finally really really stepped out of my comfort zone and took a cue from shimelle. I put 10 photos on 1 single page layout. Now when Shimelle did this she used 12 photos but I only happened to have 10 on hand so thats what I went with. It was easier than I thought it would be and I really enjoy the fact that instead of 5 layouts I now have 1 of this part of the trip. That leaves room for more stuff in my book!
In stead of photographing each individual mat I thought I would just show you how easy this is to pull out and flip through.

The pp is all Studio calico from heyday and the classic calico lines. I used all neutrals on the mats so they would pop against the background. Then just a little color on the first mat. Both letter stickers are from American crafts. The rest of the embellishments are misc from my stash.

These are a couple pics from when valdo climbed so freaking high on our air boat ride rest stop. You can barely pick him out, just look for the mint green against the red rocks...

The background pp is from studio calico abroad line. The aqua pp is the b side of a sheet in the american crafts shoreline collection. The yellow chunk is also studio calico. The camera stamps are american crafts and the chevron is studio calico. wood veneer shapes also studio calico. The label sticks are from October afternoons midway line and the alphas are thickers. And the cute cute word bubble washi is October afternoon midway line.

Happy Voting day everyone, i hope you exercise your right to get out and vote!
