Hello friends. I have some more layouts to share today. I have been working in and with my page protectors more and more. The next few layouts have quite a few that are made right into the page protectors. So I apologize in advance for the glare on the photos of those ones. It is really fun to branch out and try different things. I like the character it adds to my book by having some altered protectors and different size pages.
Of course when donkeys are involved I'm going to take alot of photos. This still is not even all of them on this layout! It was amazing to see these donkeys in the wild. Just roaming around like deer would here.
This is the front of this layout. I love this collection and how it stands out on the kraft paper. I now need her new collection out with Websters pages.
Then when you turn the page, you see that its all connected and is really only one layout. I sewed the sleeves together after I had the pages done! I love this effect alot and I owe big thanks to Shimelle for teaching us this. You can see how she did her's here.
Ahhhhhh the donkeys were so adorable! Especially the babies! I wanna go back to Oatman someday!
I also had these couple photos of lake mead and the hoover dam and one photo of desert with no brush, just sand. All cool things but not stuff I wanted to make whole pages on. This is something happening more and more in my books. So I just slip them in page protectors with some journaling and a few embellies and there you have it. I cut a sleeve in half for this one and I love the 6x12 size it left me. Perfect for these photos and a bit of journaling.
My page about Vegas. I love love love the photos I got in Vegas and how they turned out. So this page was born using them and the bright lights as inspiration. I thought the October Afternoon Midway line would work great and it did!
Lots of bright colors and the alphas really were a great match. Then the rest of the photos I added into another sleeve. I made a title spot with some journaling ont he back and that concluded my photos from Vegas.
Stay tuned I'm going to show you the LA stuff next!
